Paris picnic and lovers photo session

Romantic Paris for a lovers photo session

You are just about to get on a plane. You will be landing in Paris in a few hours. You are planning on an eiffel tower engagement, a secret proposal. You have not had the time to search for a photographer!  Well I would be delighted to be your photographer for this very special moment!  I love taking portraits of lovers in Paris!

Here, I would like to share with you a very sweet and romantic moment I photographed in Paris recently with a young couple in Love, celebrating their one year of relationship.

If you are looking for something special while visiting Paris, I suggest that you contact ” Love Paris Picnic “.  They  organize romantic picnics overlooking the Eiffel tower and at different landmarks in Paris such as the Luxembourg gardens. I met Beatrice and her sweet heart at the champ de mars as they were finishing their picnic. They had ordered a special treat from Love Paris picnic with a very YUMMY strawberry cake. They were blowing their one year anniversary candle as I arrived for their engagement photo session under a gorgeous cherry tree!

Spring has finally arrived! Best time of the year ahead of us …

Everyone dreams of having romantic photographs taken with the eiffel tower in the background. Paris is gorgeous all year long, even in the fall and winter when it rains and the temperature gets a bit chilly. As a photographer, any day wandering the streets of the city is a gem for amazing photographs. Each season brings a different mood to the end result. If you photograph a couple in love in front of your camera, with the city amazing architecture, it is a dream job to take clients around town for their engagement photo session or any other private occasion.

Often I am being asked : ” What do we do if it rains ” . I will just say well we’ll just keep on having fun and recommend a screening of “Singing in the rain”

I would have some gorgeous umbrellas with me. There is always a cafe to shelter. Nothing matters when you are in Love and in a city like Paris! In the case of Beatrice and Steeve, we had the most amazing cherry tree as a background + the Eiffel tower which we could almost touch.

I would like to go up the Eiffel tower again actually with a couple to do a photo serie from within! You can purchase tickets online so that you can easily skip the queue! This is going to be my goal for the next few weeks actually as I havent been up for a little while now. Taking a couple in love for their engagement photo session on the third floor of the Eiffel tower would be quite amazing.

If anyone reading those lines want to take on the challenge, reach out, i would be delighted to photograph your love for each other overlooking the whole of the city! I will photograph your engagement photo session in a fun and stylish way.

Eiffel tower classical dancer photo session

The Eiffel tower for your Paris photo session.

A few photographs from a session with a classical dancer in Paris. Paris is a gold mine for romantic backdrops for your photo session. The first thing that comes to one’s mind visiting the city is the Eiffel tower. This old lady is the prime destination for anyone on a romantic journey in the city of love.

I remember the first time I went up with my parents to the third floor. I was no older then 8 year old and I still remember the moment quite vividly. Today, I am often asked for a photo session at its footsteps. Every time I remember my dad being scared of height on that day!

A few words about the Eiffel tower for your Paris photo session. My clients trust me to take them around some of the most amazing romantic locations around the city. Somehow, we always start or finish at the Eiffel tower. I was born and raised in Paris so I do know the city quite well. I also have a good understanding of my clients wishes. It is important to start a photo shoot quite early in the morning specially whether you wish to include the Eiffel tower in the pictures. Two reasons why we should do so; the first one being the light. It is all talked about in my F.A.Q page which you can refer to for some of the many question that you may ask yourself. Morning light is quite gorgeous and pleasing for portraits. The days are getting longer now and it requires a morning call at 7am the latest to start your photo session in may.

The second reason why we would have to get up early is that past 8am the first buses of tourist start to arrive at the site. By 9am the Trocadero square gets crowded and you have to juggle with the crowd and the many tourists wanted to have their photo taken in front of the monument just like you!  So please, please lets wake up early enough to enjoy a beautiful sunrise together in Paris so that I can take the most romantic and creative visuals for your memories. A sunrise over the eiffel tower is a special moment to remember. You feel like you have the city all to yourself. It is a peaceful moment as you do not get many cars and traffic in the streets around.

So now if you wish to book a photo session at the Eiffel tower for your pre wedding photo shoot, an engagement or a secret proposal, you know you are going to have to get to bed quite early the day before. You need a fresh look in the morning no later then 7am! I do love my bed specially on week end as well, but i can tell you, it is all worth it at the end.

Eiffel tower family photographer

Meet Catherine and her family photographed at the tour Eiffel a few weeks back for a family portrait session. I am a photographer at large! Always exciting to meet new clients, focus on the task at hand and produce photographs that transcend life! When it comes to private portraits whether for a family, a couple of a single person, I want the final result to be natural, not set up or contrived. It is a matter to get my clients to trust me so that they realize that they are in good hands! This way they will juts let go and simply enjoy the moment. I provide unique portraits true to each couple and families, every photo session is different because you are special and deserve the best. It is my goal to make sure that my photography with you will match your uniqueness. This is why I love what i do! I have the shill and experience to produce skillful and creative visuals for each and everyone of you.

I had one hour with the family on the steps of the Trocadero. We started the photo session at 9 am in the morning. I had asked to meet at 7h30, this is when the light is best at this time of the day. It is not always possible to arrange for such an early call. Trust me, I love my bed on week end but the Trocadero being the number one touristic spot in the city, it sometimes take a little dedication to get Paris all to yourself! We managed to get some gorgeous portraits still, without having to juggle too much with the crowd that had already gathered on the site to enjoy one of the most amazing vista of the Eiffel tower!

I am very happy with the outcome, and I am so glad I got to meet those guys and make new friends!  Enjoy the photos, and if you are considering having some photos taken while visiting Paris, do not hesitate to reach out. I am usually quite fast to respond and answer all of the questions that you may have.

I hope you will enjoy those Eiffel tower family photograph as much as i had taking them.
